With brief notes; and new indices, more comprehensive and useful than those previously published by Pierre Coste. London: Printed by J. Tonson & J. Watts, 1724. 3 volumes in-4, speckled brown calfskin, decorated ribbed spine, triple gilt fillet framing the covers, marbled edges (contemporary binding). A fine edition featuring a frontispiece portrait of Montaigne engraved by Chéreau after Genest. A few scuffs, otherwise a fine copy.
