In-8, half-Lavallière morocco, spine with finely decorated raised bands, author’s and title labels in green morocco, gilt head, covers preserved (G. Kauffmann – F. Horclois). A fine edition featuring a portrait of the author on the frontispiece and six separate illustrations by Hédouin. A few small foxing spots (more pronounced on the plates). A fine, well-bound copy.
