Green half-morocco with corner pieces, spine with five raised bands, gilt title, date at the foot, gilt head, covers and spine preserved – this is the rarer of the two cover variants, the yellow-beige one printed by Dumontet (Vermorel). First edition of the author’s first novel, for which no large-format paper was used. Spine sun-faded. A fine copy. Moroccan ex-libris from the collection of Laurent Meeûs.
