In-8, midnight blue half-maroquin with corner pieces, decorated ribbed spine, author’s and title labels in red maroquin, gilt head, untrimmed, covers preserved (G. Kauffmann-Horclois). Portrait and 8 illustrations after GRAVELOT and PASQUIER, etched by Louis MONZIES. Spine sun-faded, otherwise a very fine copy.
