SAINT-EXUPÉRY (Antoine de). The Little Prince. Algiers, n.p., 1968. Quarto, bound with cord, dark blue hardback cover with title and illustration painted in white. A very rare edition (probably published at the author’s or, more likely, the translator’s expense) in an unidentified language (perhaps resembling the Tuareg, Berber or Kabyle and the Tifinagh or Amazigh alphabets), illustrated with 6 colour plates reproducing Saint-Exupéry’s illustrations and numerous figures drawn within the text, inspired by the author’s drawings. E.A.S. “To my Gazelle / To Tamo!”, signed Daniel, in Algiers, February 1968.
