In-4, fawn morocco, plain spine decorated with the title and bands of gilt fillets, covers decorated with a wide vertical band of intersecting blind-stamped circles and small bands of gilt fillets, and five pairs of blind-stamped squares at the ends; interior edging in the same morocco with a slightly darker morocco border, slightly darker, with gold and blind-stamped fillets; linings and endpapers in bronze-coloured moiré; cover and spine preserved, in a box with flaps (Georges Cretté).
Charming stencilled illustrations by Carlègle within the text.
Print run of 400 copies; no. 18 of the 15 printed on Imperial Japan paper with a black suite, here enhanced with two ORIGINAL DRAWINGS signed with a monogrammed stamp. A very fine copy.
