Quarto, fawn-coloured crocodile-patterned leather, plain spine with gilt title, original copperplate insert on the front cover, gilt head, cover and spine preserved (Kieffer). Spine sun-faded. Limited edition of 250 copies; no. 54 of the 20 containing two states of the 18 (out of 19) colour etchings by Paul Guignebault (final colour state and black-and-white state with a note) and the series of woodcuts, enhanced by the original copperplate illustration inserted into the publisher’s binding.
