LE SAËC (Thierry) & TORREILLES (Pierre). L’Envol de la Chouette. [Losne], Éditions de l’Atelier [Thierry Bouchard and Yves Prié], 1997. In-4 (34.5 x 24.5 cm) in folio format, illustrated cover mounted in a Plexiglas slipcase, 68 pp. First edition, printed in a run of only 25 copies. One of the five numbered head copies on Moulin de Larroque vellum, featuring 11 drypoint engravings with laminated Japanese paper highlights, all signed by Thierry Le Saëc. Signatures by the poet and the artist appear in the colophon. The copy is accompanied by the series of engravings with (very) wide margins (approximately 53 x 35 cm), some of which differ from those in the book (notably the cover of the series). A fine E.A.S. by Le Saëc to Pierre TORREILLES, this being his copy. It is enriched with several additional engravings, also dedicated by the artist to the poet, two signed autograph letters, and greeting cards, each adorned with a signed original engraving.
