Edition illustrated by Frans Masereel with a two-tone frontispiece, 34 engravings (including 10 full-page ones), and a monochrome drawing incorporated into the title page. Printed in a run of 1,100 copies; no. 545 of 1,000 on La Hulpe vellum, signed by the author, the publisher and the illustrator. Good condition, uncut, but without the set of plates advertised.
