First edition of this monograph tracing the history of ballet, featuring an ORIGINAL COLOUR LITHOGRAPH by PICASSO as a frontispiece and numerous illustrations within and outside the text, in black and white and in colour, including reproductions by MIRÓ, Picasso, Léger, Laurencin, etc. Cover illustrated from an original drawing by Matisse.
