Born in 1961, Fabrice Hybert is one of the leading figures in contemporary French art. Combining drawings, paintings, video and installations, his work reflects a deep connection to nature and the sciences, as well as to economics and the ‘commerce’ of forms. This text is a reproduction of handwritten notes, accompanied by sketches, in which Hybert explains his conception of the role of art and the artist.
