First edition, copy no. 65 of the limited print run of 280 copies + 15 artist’s copies, accompanied by an ORIGINAL WOODCUT, numbered and signed by the artist. Volume no. 47 of the ‘L’art en écrit’ collection. Very slight soiling on the dust jacket; slipcase partially detached. A leading French artist in 20th-century abstract art, Aurélie Nemours (1910–2005) is distinguished by her compositions based on the ‘horizontal-vertical’ principle.
