SAURA (Antonio). Señoritas y caballeros. Paris, Jannink, 1992. In-8 (21 x 12.5 cm), paperback, 48 pp., printed and pasted dust jacket, slipcase. First edition of this collection of five previously unpublished short stories, copy no. 164 of a limited print run of 295 copies + 15 not for sale, accompanied by an ORIGINAL SIGNED SILK-SCREEN PRINT. Volume No. 4 of the ‘L’art en écrit’ collection. Very slight scuffing on the dust jacket. Antonio Saura (1930–1998) was a Spanish painter and writer. His work, which lies halfway between abstraction and tormented figuration, has been the subject of solo exhibitions at the Centre Pompidou, the Tate Gallery and the Reina Sofía Museum.
