The text comprises 42 sonnets written by Théophile GAUTIER, Anatole FRANCE, VERLAINE, LECONTE DE LISLE, SAINTE-BEUVE, etc., each illustrated with an original etching by G. DORÉ, COROT, MANET, MILLET, HUGO, JONGKIND, BRACQUEMOND, etc. Printed in a run of 350 copies. The plates have been destroyed. A few very small foxing spots.
