Paris, Aristide Bruant, [1889 and 1895]. 2 vols., small 8vo, 207 and 207 pp., each, glazed light-coloured calfskin, ribbed spine, title label in fawn morocco, double blind-stamped fillet framing the covers, gilt head, colour illustrated covers preserved (contemporary binding). Definitive edition of the first volume and first edition of the second. A third volume was published by Flammarion in 1897. Numerous drawings by Théophile Alexandre Steinlein.
