Khaki percaline Bradel binding, smooth spine, author’s name, title and date in gold lettering, entirely untrimmed, cover preserved (contemporary binding). Engraving plates. Third edition, revised and expanded. It is illustrated with 58 plates of reproductions, including 6 double plates and 10 in colour, engraved on copper by Dujardin after original documents of the period, with captioned scrolls. One of 100 copies on large vellum paper, second paper. It comes from the library of the Nîmes collector Maurice Méric, bearing his gilt ex-libris on a piece of leather.
