AIZPIRI (Paul) & GERSON (Jean). The Passion of Our Lord. Colour lithographs by Paul AIZPIRI. Paris – Bièvres, Pierre de Tartas, 1960. Folio format in loose-leaf sheets, illustrated cover, in a garnet-coloured coarse-grained morocco slipcase. Worn joints, some scuffs, small white pinholes in the velvet lining of the slipcase. Limited edition of 212 copies; this copy is printed on pearlescent Japanese paper specially produced for Florence (de Tartas), enhanced with a set of plates in black on Rives vellin and several sets of colour breakdowns. A few small foxing spots.
