Oblong quarto, paperback, marbled paper cover, title label. 12 full-page woodcuts in monochrome. Printed in a run of 440 numbered copies; No. 28 of 40 on antique French laid paper in a special format, here enriched with a suite of engravings on Japanese paper, a letter from Léon Pichon to Maxime Dethomas’s daughter accompanied by a list of unsold copies of the three works produced in collaboration by L. Pichon and M. Dethomas to settle the royalties, and an autograph letter (“Bibi”/M. Joyant?) addressed to Maxime Dethomas (“Monsieur Gros n’arbre”).
