Quarto, grey half-basane with corner pieces, decorated ribbed spine with title and author labels, gilt fillet on the covers, original covers preserved (contemporary binding). Numerous colour illustrations by Maggy Monier (1887–1965), including 8 separate plates, amongst which is the frontispiece. Printed in a run of 925 copies. Binding rubbed.
