3 works bound together in 1 volume, small 8vo, half-vellum, handwritten title on the spine, yellow edges (later binding).
The collection comprises:
- LA NOUE (Jean-Baptiste Sauvé de). *Mahomet Second*. Paris, Prault fils, 1739. A tragedy in five acts.
- CRÉBILLON (Prosper Jolyot de). *Catilina*. The Hague, n.p., 1749. A tragedy in five acts, dedicated to the Marquise de Pompadour and first performed by the King’s regular actors on 20 December 1748.
- BELLOY (Pierre-Laurent de). The Siege of Calais. Paris, Duchesne, 1765. A tragedy in five acts, dedicated to the King and first performed by the King’s Regular French Actors on 13 February 1765. Followed by historical notes.
