Volume Eight, containing a table designed to facilitate the search for anonymous books which were listed by M. de Bure the Younger in his Instructive Bibliography; to supplement anything omitted from the tables and following on from Gaignat’s catalogue; preceded by a Discourse on the Science of Bibliography and on the Duties of the Bibliographer, and accompanied by brief notes serving as corrections to various articles in the bibliography and additions to some of those in which the names of the anonymous authors had not been revealed. Paris, Deterville, 1793. 8vo, marbled calf, decorated ribbed spine, red edges (contemporary binding). Spine damaged.
