Includes the calling card of the Marquis de Dion, ‘Senator for the Loire-Inférieure’, Jules-Albert de DION (1858–1946), founder (along with Georges Bouton and Charles Trépardoux) of the De Dion-Bouton motor car company in Puteaux in 1883, which was, for a short period, the world’s largest motor car manufacturer, and then, after the First World War, the leading French manufacturer of railcars.
