In-12, pale calfskin, decorated ribbed spine, title label ‘Introd. à l’histoi.’, gilded volume number ‘Vol. X’, gilded frieze and royal coat of arms on the covers, marbled edges (18th-century binding). Engraved frontispiece, title page and first folios of the second volume of the History of Sweden by Baron de Puffendorff (Amsterdam, Chatelain, 1743). Caps and corners rubbed, otherwise a fine item.
