UNIVERSAL GENEVA Coin Watch model Men's wristwatch in 750/°° gold, mounted on a 50-dollar coin, with quartz movement, round case, dial with gilded background representing one side of the coin, mute hour-markers, baton hands. Hallmarked clé de Genève 36 Circa 1970 Diameter: 35 mm Length of bracelet: 17.5 cm approx. Gross weight: 40.28 g Excellent condition (a few marks on the dial) Functional at the time of writing, mechanism not guaranteed. Born at the crossroads of watchmaking and numismatics, coin watches transform real American dollars into objects of time.
