TAVANNES ‘SHOCK ABSORBER’
Shaped steel wristwatch, opaline dial, black railway-track minute track, hour markers in black and gold painted Arabic numerals, blued hollow-pomme hands, small seconds at six o’clock, partially recessed from the dial.
Steel case back secured with four screws, numbered 7703-131; inside, signed ‘Tavannes Watch Co Swiss’, marked ‘BREV. No. 189190’, numbered 25321.
Hand-wound mechanical movement, signed ‘Tavannes Watch Co’, calibre 365K, numbered 144512. Brown leather strap with a metal pin buckle.
The watch was in working order at the time of valuation; however, there is no guarantee of future functionality or the condition of the components. Scratches on the case; restored dial.
