GRUEN ‘VERI-THIN’
10k gold-filled wristwatch, opaline dial, black minute track, ‘Breguet’-style Arabic numeral hour markers in gold appliqués, gold sword-shaped hands, small seconds at six o’clock. Bezel decorated with horizontal twisted patterns.
Clip-on case back in 10k gold-filled, signed GRUEN, numbered K57940, inscribed on the inside with GRUEN WATCH CO, reference 335-680.
Hand-wound mechanical movement signed Gruen Veri-Thin, calibre 335, numbered 658294. Brown leather strap with a gold-plated metal pin buckle.
The watch was in working order at the time of valuation; however, there is no guarantee of future functionality or the condition of the components. Scratches on the case; the dial has been restored.
