BREGUET Westminster Chime Clock Circa 1925. Case: wall-mounted case in moulded and carved walnut, arched pediment surmounted by a finial, fluted columns on either side, solid door at the base. Dial: white enamel signed Breguet 831, painted Arabic numerals in the Art Deco style, railway-track minute track, three winding holes at 4 o’clock, 6 o’clock and 8 o’clock. Hands: blued steel. Glass: domed mineral glass. Movement: mechanical, hand-wound with a key, three gear trains, damascened brass plates, quarter-hour chime to the tune of Westminster and hour chime. Set: none.
