A silver CHATELAINE OR CLAVIER decorated with opposing scrolls and a shell. The double chain is jaseron mesh. The silver and steel scissors, the openwork rings and openwork monogram M/IS. The same monogram engraved on the back of the keyboard. Master-gilder: crowned CS, perhaps Christophe Sauvan, master in Marseille received in 1783 (his small hallmark) or Cyrille Sibon master in Barjols in 1787 (his small hallmark).
