A silver CHATELAINE OR CLAVIER decorated with opposing scrolls and a shell. The double chain is jaseron mesh. The silver and steel scissors, the openwork rings and openwork monogram M/IS. The same monogram engraved on the back of the keyboard.
Master-gilder: crowned CS, perhaps Christophe Sauvan, master in Marseille received in 1783 (his small hallmark) or Cyrille Sibon master in Barjols in 1787 (his small hallmark).
Probably Provençal work from the 18th century.
