CHINA-VIETNAM, early 20th century. A set of twenty-two blue-and-white porcelain pieces, comprising:
. A small, multi-lobed oval dish decorated with dragons;
. Nine plates, including two large and seven small ones, decorated with a lakeside landscape;
. A series of pieces with stencil decoration, including: three bowls with flared rims; four plates decorated with bats (one with chips); a bowl decorated with a dragon; a small bottle-shaped vase decorated with a dragon.
Also included are three small stencil-decorated plates from Japan.
Various sizes.
Provenance: Passed down through the generations of a family of chemists from the Besançon region, who lived in Shanghai and then in Indochina between the 1920s and 1940s.
