CHINA, late 19th century. A Cantonese porcelain bouquet vase in ‘Famille Rose’ enamels, with a long neck and a body formed by five joined vases, decorated with alternating figures and flowers in cartouches against a background of floral motifs. A spurious Qianlong mark on the base. (Wear to the enamel) H. 26.5 cm Provenance: Passed down through the generations of a family of chemists from the Besançon region, who lived in Shanghai and then in Indochina in the 1920s–1940s.
