Description
HIROSHIGE (1797–1858). Oban tate-e woodblock print, from the series ‘Famous Views in the Sixty-odd Provinces’ (Rokujûyoshû meisho zue), a view of Matsushima, Mutsu Province (sun-faded, margins trimmed, mounted). Also included is an oban tate-e print based on a print from the so-called ‘Vertical Tōkaidō’ series, depicting Mount Fuji as seen from the floating islands in the marsh at Yoshiwara. No series title.
