Brocherioux, 1923. 2 vols., in-4. Paperback, illustrated covers, in a half-cloth slipcase, without a box. Volumes bound together in a slipcase with flaps, large oval title label pasted onto the front cover, leather spine rubbed. Preface by Camille Mauclair. The work is illustrated with 17 plates by Lessieux and decorative elements by Mossa. Printed in a run of 525 copies. This is one of the 17 special copies on Holland paper containing four signed original watercolours: one full-page watercolour by Lessieux, with notes, two headbands and a footer by Mossa (on one page), a series of 140 plates comprising the complete breakdown of the tones used for the faithful reproduction of one of the original inset watercolours, a series in bistre and a series in grey of the 17 insets.
