Description
A small, flat-topped desk with compartments, inlaid with flowering branches and foliage against a background of curly satinwood in
frames of filigree amaranth; with a flowing shape, it has nine drawers, including a large central one, the other eight
others arranged on either side of a scalloped bridge, also inlaid with satinwood and amaranth; it rests on
four curved legs.
Stamped by Denis Genty and JME.
Louis XV period (routine restoration, including the refitting of the top’s frieze with wine-coloured leather).
Rocaille ornamentation in chiselled and gilded bronze.
