ANDECAVI Angers region End of 2nd century and 1st part of 1st century. Head of Ogmius on the right, hair arranged in two rows of locks - the first in a headband. Above, fan-shaped motif with beaded cord at the ends terminating in small heads. R/. Androcephalous horse led on the right by an charioteer holding the vexillum in front of the horse's head. Below, reclining winged figure. ♦ DT 2178 Reddish gold statere "à l'aigrette". (6,86 g) Rare. Wide flan. A very fine example.
