Roman Republic (509–27 BC), Rome A rare denarius of Caius Aburius Geminus (Aburii dynasty), 134 BC. Silver. Weight: 3.90 g. Very Fine to Superb.                     Sear Volume 1: 121. Description: The Aburii family were members of the Roman plebs during the final centuries of the Republic. This denarius, belonging to Caius Aburius, is to be compared with that of his twin brother Marcus Aburius, whose obverse depicts Sol on his quadriga instead of Mars on ours.
