Sicily, Siculo-Punic coinage. Tetradrachm ND (c. 320–290 BC), Entella.
Obverse: Head of Heracles-Melqart wearing a lion’s skin, facing right.
Reverse: Head of a horse facing left; behind it, a palm tree; in the exergue, the Punic inscription MHMNHT (Mechasbim); in front, an astragalus.

The strike is slightly off-centre and in high relief, with minimal wear and the details clearly visible. The patina is dark, almost anthracite. Superb.
