Obverse: Front view of the nymph Larissa, her hair held back by an ampyx.
Reverse: ΛAPIΣ / AIΩN. A bridled horse facing right, with its left foreleg raised.

Acquired from the Banque Populaire du Nord in 1976.
On a slightly oblong blank, with a relatively well-centred strike. The patina is anthracite. Almost Superb.
