Boeotia, Thebes. Archaic drachma, undated (525–480 BC), Thebes.
Obverse: Boeotian shield.
Reverse: Quadripartite sunken square with mill-wheel wings.

Acquired from the Banque Populaire du Nord in 1978.
On a globular flan, high relief on the obverse and a deep recessed square. Beautiful grey patina. Very good condition.
