Thrace (islands of), Thasos. Archaic stater (or didrachm) undated (525–463 BC), Thasos.
Obverse: A naked, ithyphallic satyr facing right, in a crouching position, carrying a nymph who raises her right hand in protest.
Reverse: A four-part square with a recessed centre.

Acquired from the Banque Populaire du Nord in 1980.
