ANCIENT GREECE - GREEK Saronic Islands, Aegina. Hemidrachma or triobolos ND (525–475 BC), Aegina. Obverse: Sea turtle with a slender neck. Reverse: Sunken square with windmill sails. HGC 6, 446; Silver – 2.8 g – 12 mm – 12 h Acquired from Albuquerque in 1994. On a globular blank, in high relief. The patina is old, with even wear. Very good condition.
