Aeolian, Lesbos (island of). Hectete of electrum with a winged lion facing left, ND (412–378 BC), Mytilene.
Obverse: Protome of a winged lion facing left.
Reverse: Winged sphinx, seated on the right, within a linear square.

On an oblong blank, with a centred strike, perfectly showing the details of the lion with its mane. Slight golden patina. Almost Superb.
