ANCIENT GREECE - GREEK
Ionia, Miletus. Drachma issued in the name of the magistrate Philiskos ND (260–250 BC), Miletus.
Obverse: Laureate head of Apollo facing left.
Reverse: [ΦIΛI]ΣKOΣ. Lion facing left, with its head thrown back, beneath a sun [on the left, the monogram M and T below].

The strike is slightly off-centre on both the obverse and reverse. This specimen shows very little wear. It has a lovely grey patina with subtle golden highlights. Superb.
