Ionia, Teos. Drachma in the name of the magistrate Agnon ND (c. 375 BC), Teos.
Obverse: Seated griffin facing right, one paw raised.
Reverse: ΤΗΙΩΝ / ΑΓ-ΝΩΝ. Four-part hollow square with granular indentations, with a cross-shaped legend in the centre.

Acquired from Elsen in 1984.
Minimal marks on the obverse, and even wear. The patina is grey with iridescent highlights. TTB / Superb.
