Cilicia, Mallos. Obol bearing the head of Heracles ND (440–390 BC), Mallos.
Obverse: Head of Heracles facing left, wearing the lion’s skin, within a grènetis.
Reverse: MQ. Swan advancing to the right; in front of it, an ear of wheat.

Acquired from Elsen in 2007.
The strike is off-centre on the obverse. A rare variety with the swan on the right on the reverse! With a grey patina. Very Good to Superb.
