ANCIENT GREECE - GREEK
Persia, Achaemenid Empire, Darius I or Xerxes I (521–486–465). Sicle or hemistater ND (500–480 BC).
Obverse: The Great King, bearded, wearing the cidaris and clad in the candys, kneeling on the right with a quiver on his shoulder, holding a spear in his right hand and a bow in his left.
Reverse: Irregular rectangular incus.

Well centred, with the King finely detailed and expressive. Slight grey patina. Very Good to Superb condition.
