Zeugitane, Carthage. 1/4 shekel, struck in Punic Spain, ND (237–209 BC), Carthago Nova (Cartagena).
Obverse: Laurel-crowned head of Hercules-Melqart facing left, with a club on his right shoulder.
Reverse: Elephant facing right.

Acquired from Cummings in 1994.
The strike is somewhat faint on the obverse and the flan is slightly porous. Slight grey patina. TTB.
