Massilia – Marseille. Hemiobolus with a ram’s head facing right, ND (500–475 BC), Marseille.
Obverse: Ram’s head facing right.
Reverse: Hollow square.

Type from the Auriol hoard discovered in 1867.
On an irregularly shaped blank. Slightly off-centre on the obverse but with a complete swastika-shaped hollow square on the reverse. Beautiful patina. Very Good to Superb.
