Massilia - Marseille. Hemiobolus with a winged boar facing left, ND (500–475 BC), Marseille.
Obverse: Protome of a winged boar facing left.
Reverse: Hollow square.

Acquired from Duran in 2002. Type from the Auriol hoard, discovered in 1867.
On a quadrangular blank, with a slight crack. Beautiful dark patina. Almost Superb.
