Massilia - Marseille. Obol depicting a helmeted head facing right, undated (450–425 BC), Marseille.
Obverse: Head facing right, wearing a helmet adorned with a four-spoked disc.
Reverse: Four-spoked wheel with lugs.

Acquired from J. Duran in 2017.
Centrically struck, with the bust in high relief. The patina is anthracite, with iridescent highlights. Superb.
