Massilia - Marseille. Obol bearing the bust of Lacydon facing right, ND (425–400 BC), Marseille.
Obverse: ΛΑΚΥΔΩ[Ν]. Head of Lacydon facing right.
Rev. Four-spoked wheel, inverted Μ in the first canton.

Acquired from Poinsignon in December 2002.
With the legend almost entirely legible. A rare type featuring the inverted letter M on the reverse. Collector’s patina. Condition: Very Good to Superb.
